Ch. Rhodepark North On Ice (Norty) was awarded Best in Group with Gr Ch. Elangeni Dream Run (Duke) going Runner Up Best in Group and Elangeni Natural Pearl (Pearl) was awarded Best Minor Puppy in Group. It didn't end there with Norty winning Consolation to Runner Up Best in Show and Duke winning Consolation to Best in Show. Both boys worked like a dream and did us proud at, Rylstone Kandos & District Dog Club All Breeds Championship Show under Hound Specialist Mrs J Allitt (NSW) for Group and Mr W Burton (NSW) for General Specials. The babies made another clean sweep- Elangeni Black Pearl (Jed) was awarded Best Baby Puppy of Breed and Elangeni Natural Pearl (Pearl) was awarded 1st Baby Puppy Bitch at, Wollondilly All Breeds Kennel Club Inc. under Mrs F Harris (TAS.) Elangeni Thigh High (Boots) wasn't entered but she came along to the Show to play. All the pups had a blast, including Elangeni Femme Fatale (Lilith) who came to learn what Showing is all about!

Very exciting news from Spain! Elangeni Lion OutOf Africa (Garry) is now a big boy in Intermediate Class and at his first Show since turning 15 months he was awarded, with Champion Quality, Spanish CAC, CACIB and Best of Breed and then Best in Group 2 at, Spanish Championship Show under Mr J Homen De Mello (Portugal.) Most exciting of all Garry has now qualified to compete at Crufts in 2011. Go Garry Cakes!

Here at Elangeni we are absolutley thrilled to announce that SWD DAN FIN NORD Ch. Elangeni BraveheartRules (Eros) has had his second mating. His first was to the beautiful 4 times Best in Show Specialty winning SWD NORW FIN NORD International Ch. Rex Ventors Helinn (Helinn) to whom he produced some outstanding puppies. Eros has now been mated to SWD DAN FIN NORD International Ch. African Braveheart's FOURever Yours (Nike) and we cannot wait to see these puppies! Both of these world class dogs have been awarded Best in Show Specialty along with Best in Group Placements from multiple countries and much much more- their qualifications really do speak for themselves. Sunday, 11th April Rhodepark North On Ice (Norty) performed beautifully on General Specials Day at The Purina Sydney Royal Easter Show and he and Emma were very happy to represent Team Rhodepark who were awarded Best Breeder Team in Hound Group. A great day with very fun company! We are all now having a well deserved rest and enjoing the nice Autumn weather with all our sweet puppies.

It was certainly a year for our boys at The Purina Sydney Royal Easter Show! We exhibited only 2 dogs this year under Mr J Nallem of Uruguay- Rhodepark North On Ice (Norty) and Ch. Elangeni Pink Floyd (Floyd) and they both did us proud! On Thursday Norty put on a winning performance and was awarded Best of Breed at only 12 months of age. Today Floyd was awarded Dog Challenge and Runner Up Best of Breed. Go Boys! Thanks to Emma for her great handling and many thanks to Luci Ellem for stacking Floyd for his picture as Emma had to go to another Show. We are looking forward to General Specials Day.

Gr Ch. Elangeni Dream Run (Duke) was awarded Best of Breed at, Camden Show Society Inc. under Mrs D Besoff (NSW.) We are very proud of Duke's tremendously consistent Show Results so far in 2010- he is a very special boy!
It was a very busy day here at Elangeni:
- Ch. Elangeni Dream Girl (Evie) finished giving birth to her beautiful pups early in the morning.
- The cuties of Ch. Elangeni Cool Dream (Cool) had their first visit with their lovely new families.
- Rhodepark North On Ice (Norty) celebrated his 1st Birthday with pink cupcakes for him and all his doggy friends! We look forward to now gaining Norty's Title with ease and to the further fun wins ahead as he continues to mature into the stunning adult dog that he shows all the promise of being.

Today we received a report of the Show Results for Elangeni Lion OutOf Africa (Garry) in France- he has been doing very well! After spending a month with a Professional Handler, Garry is all trained up and ready to go, they have been to 3 Shows together and Garry was awarded: 1st Junior Dog with a Grading of Excellent and Best Junior under J.P. Boitard (France), 1st Junior Dog with a Grading of Excellent, Best of Breed and Best in Group 2 under A. Martinez Noguera (Spain) and 1st Junior Dog with a Grading of Excellent and Best of Breed under J.L. Arrue Pinto (Spain.) Go Garry!

Sunday, 24th January SWD DAN Ch. Elangeni BraveheartRules (Eros) was awarded Best of Breed with the Finnish CAC and CACIB. This means Eros is now a Finnish Champion and because he has attained 3 Titles from 3 different Scandinavian countries he is also a Nordic Champion! To top it all of Eros was also awarded Best in Group- putting him in the Top 10 of over 4700 dogs at, The International Winter Show in Turku, Finland under Mrs M Blaha (Austria) and Mrs B Scheel (Denmark.) The now: SWD DAN FIN NORD Ch. Elangeni BraveheartRules has received 4 Champion Titles in only 2 weekends- GO EROS!

What a night in Australia...
Gr Ch. Elangeni Dream Run (Duke) was awardedBest in Group (this is only Duke's 3rd Show of the year and he has had a Runner Up Best in Group as well.) Rhodepark North On Ice (Norty) was awarded 2nd in 6-12 Months Sweep Stakes (with an entry of 36), Reserve Dog Challenge and Runner Up Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Show at, Penrith Kennel & Obedience Club Inc. under Miss C Stuart (NSW) for S/S, Miss D Crofts (NSW) for the Hound Group and Mr W Burton (NSW) for General Specials.
And what a weekend in Sweden...
At his first Show of the year the 2 years and 2 weeks old Elangeni BraveheartRules (Eros) was awarded 3rd Best Male out of 44, the next day he was awarded 2nd Best Male (breed entry of 96) with his 8th and final Swedish CAC after turning 2 years, allowing him to finally obtain his easily earned title of Swedish Champion at, MyDOG under B Lundgren (Sweden.) But he doesn't stop there... the next day Eros was in Denmark for the Danish Rhodesian Ridgeback Club Specialty where he was awarded 1st Best Male with his 3rd Danish CAC making him also a Danish Champion-2 titles in the same weekend! Eros topped it all off by then going...
